Home and Community Care (TAS HACC) program
The Tasmanian Home and Community Care (Tas HACC) program funds community services for Tasmanians under 65 years of age or under 50 for first nation peoples, and their carers to live independently at home if their capacity for independent living is at risk due to:
- a health event
- living with an ongoing health condition people that need ongoing support and do not meet the eligibility for the NDIS.
The service aims to help people stay well in their own homes.
The program supports people living in Tasmania who are:
- Aged under 65
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged under 50.
