Betty and Donald's Story

Betty and Donald's Story

“Betty and I have lived in this house for fifty-eight years. We brought up our three children here. Now the two girls live interstate and our son Steve lives about an hour and a half away. It’s getting harder these days as we live on the outskirts of town and neither of us drives. Betty never had a license and I gave up driving a few years back after having a mild stroke.

Steve is very good to us. He takes us shopping every week and helps with some of the house chores. The two grandkids come sometimes and help too, but they’re getting to the age where they want to do their own thing, they have busy schedules (chuckles).”

next - we probably need a bit more help
