The Tasmanian and Federal Governments have signed a new Bilateral Agreement for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Under this agreement, the Australian Government will invest around $46 million in mental health and suicide prevention support and services across Tasmania over the next five years, in addition to the $108 Million invested by The Tasmanian Government and announced in last year’s state budget. It strongly aligns with and strengthens the existing mental health reforms underway in Tasmania.
