Tasmanian Riding for the Disabled Association Inc
The Tasmanian Riding for the Disabled Association provides horse riding and carriage dirving to people with disabilities under the instruction of accredited coaches and whips through the Australia Sports Commission.
Horse activities have therapeutic benefit to people with disabilities as well as social interaction, gives participants self satisfaction, confidence and friendship.
Helps develop a relationship with animals as horses require a great deal of care and attention. Riders find themselves bonding with the animals. They develop an interest and learn to care for them.

Service Eligibility
The Tasmanian Riding for the Disabled Association Inc will accept participants from the age of 3 providing a centre has a horse of suitable size. Most diabilities are accepted.
