Physiotherapy Services provide acute and sub acute services to inpatients and outpatients for the southern region of Tasmania.

Major functions of Physiotherapists include patient assessment, treatment, care and discharge planning, student education, quality improvement and research.

Inpatient physiotherapy treatment is provided predominately at the bedside, on the ward or in ward gym areas. Outpatient services are provided at various locations across the southern region including community settings specialist clinics and the RHH emergency department.
