TAZREACH Compliance Checks
2021-22 Service Agreements
Please be advised that a small number of service and host agreements for the 2021-22 financial year have not been received. These agreements may now be withdrawn by TAZREACH and will require re-negotiation to re-issue a new agreement for a shorter timeframe.
Visits and funding cannot commence until this documentation is received, as such all providers and host sites who have not returned their agreement will have the processing of all claim forms suspended.
Please refer to the 2021-22 TAZREACH Terms and Conditions document provided with your agreement for more information.
Working with Vulnerable People (WvWP) Check's
The Department of Health (DoH) Tasmanian has recently been required to sign off on a statement of compliance for the Australian Government Department of Health (AG DoH) that provides confirmation that all staff engaging with children and complying with Commonwealth and State requirements for working with children. This was completed on behalf of all services (including TAZREACH) that deliver services to children and/or vulnerable people.
As a result of this the TAZREACH office is in the process of reviewing all services to determine those that may require a current Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) check based on the requirements of the Tasmanian Government, and a member of the TAZREACH office may touch base with individual providers to confirm and obtain current checks where we do not already have these on file.
If you believe that you fall within these requirements and you have not provided your current WwVP check as part of your agreement this year, we would be grateful if you could submit your current check as soon as possible.

TAZREACH will undertake an Expression of Interest process for limited funding to support Tasmanian Aboriginal Eye Health Stakeholders to attend the conference. More information to follow.
End of Calendar Year Cut-Off Dates
As we approach the end of the 2021 calendar year, we would like to advise all service providers and host sites that our finance system will once again be experiencing an early closure. This occurs every year in the lead up to Christmas and will remain closed until the New Year during which time we are unable to process any claim forms.
At this time, we are anticipating that our last processing day before Christmas will be on the day following the cut-off date below.
Wednesday 15 December
All claim forms for activities provided since 1 July 2021 are required to be submitted to TAZREACH by this date for processing before Christmas.
Tuesday 4 January
Financial processing of claim forms that are received after the cut-off date will recommence.
TAZREACH will advise you if these dates are required to change based on advice from our Finance Department. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
