Annual Review
The TAZREACH office will start commencing the annual review process for services that have received funding between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021 from this month.
Consultations will be conducted via face-to-face meetings, teleconferences or personalised questions via email.
Members of the TAZREACH team will start to get in touch with service providers, Aboriginal organisations and service hosts shortly, however if you would like to book in a suitable time now please feel free to get in touch with us.
We look forward to touching base with you over the next couple of months.
Keep your Eye Out...
Expressions of interest for the Visiting Optometrists Scheme (VOS) will open soon for the 2021-2024 period.
The scheme supports optometrists and optical dispensers to provide visiting services to rural and remote areas of Tasmania and Aboriginal organisations.

Cultural Awareness Training
The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) have restarted their popular Cultural Awareness Training. TAZREACH encourages all visiting service providers to undertake this training and it is a requirement of all MOICDP and VOS funded outreach providers.

2021 National Eye Health Conference: The Gap and Beyond
Registrations are now open for the 20201 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference: The Gap and Beyond.
The conference will take place online from 20 April to 22 April 2021 and is for everyone who is working on, or interested in, improving eye health and care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. It will feature keynote speakers, tabletop presentations, workshops, posters, sector awards, an exhibition of eye health promotional materials, cultural experiences, and social functions.
