On 16 August 2022, the Directorate launched an ongoing postcard campaign, inviting young people to complete a postcard to share their views about suicide prevention and good mental health in Tasmania. The postcards include paid-reply barcodes and can be mailed using any Australia Post post-box.
The postcards provide an opportunity for anyone who cares about youth mental health and suicide prevention to have a say, especially if you are aged 12 to 25, and help shape a five-year vision for preventing suicide in our State.
The extended postcard campaign will also play a pivotal role in informing the development of annual implementation plans supporting the roll out of the final Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategy and Tasmania’s broader strategic mental health plan, Rethink 2020.
