Applications for the Healthy Tasmania Fund have closed

The State Government’s Healthy Tasmania Fund will provide grant funding to community organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of their communities.

Healthy Tasmania Fund grants focus on the following areas:

  • reducing smoking
  • reducing obesity and the levels of overweight Tasmanians
  • improving healthy eating and/or physical activity.

Grants up to $200 000 are available for projects or initiatives up to two years in duration.

To be eligible for funding your organisation must:

  • be an incorporated not-for-profit legal entity, or be sponsored by an incorporated, not-for-profit legal entity (this includes local government)
  • have an office or branch in Tasmania and be proposing to undertake the project in Tasmania.

Applications for the 2019 Healthy Tasmania Fund Small Grants (up to $50 000) and Large Grants ($50 001 to $200 000) closed on 30 August.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications in November 2019.
