Online nutrition training for staff and volunteers supporting older people. The training is free for staff and volunteers working with older people living in the community. It takes about one hour to complete each course.

Nutrition for Older People online training includes videos and interactive activities; and practical tips and ideas. Users can learn about the nutrition needs of older people, common nutrition issues and how to manage them.

Malnutrition in Older People online training is interactive and includes instructional videos and fictional scenarios. Users can practice using resources and tools to screen for malnutrition and reduce malnutrition risk.

Start online training
To start the online training create a Health Learning Online account to login and then go to the ‘Community and Cultural Care’ folder. Select either ‘Nutrition for Older People’ or ‘Malnutrition in Older People’ to begin.
