Community consultation: Tasmanian Drug Strategy 2023–2028
The Tasmanian Government is developing the Tasmanian Drug Strategy 2023–2028.
Our vision is to create a Tasmania where people make healthy choices about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs use, and can access support where and when they need it.
The strategy will achieve this by providing a framework to:
- guide collaborative action across the Government and community sectors, and
- help organisations to consider the impacts of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs use and harm when making policy decisions.
It will be consistent with the harm minimisation approach of the National Drug Strategy 2017–2026 and support actions under the three pillars of supply, demand and harm reduction.
