Healthy Tasmania Community Innovations Grants

The Tasmanian government provided $1 million over two rounds of the Healthy Tasmania Community Innovations Grants in 2017 and 2018-19 to support community activities that improve health and wellbeing as part of the Healthy Tasmania Strategy. Seed funding of up to $25 000 was awarded to selected projects addressing physical activity, healthy eating or smoking cessation, and all with a focus on building community connections.

The Healthy Tasmania Community Innovations grants supported community partnership approaches to new and innovative activities that promote better health.
