Red Cross Telecross Service

The Red Cross Telecross Service provides a daily reassuring phone call to people who are isolated to check on their well-being.

Clients can choose the days to receive calls. Calls are made between 9.00am and 10.00am every day of the year.

This service can be provided on a short term basis, for example while relatives are on a holiday.

If the client does not answer their call, procedures are initiated to locate them and ensure that they are not in need of assistance.

The Telecross Service is available to anyone living in the community who is isolated, including elderly, frail, disabled and their carers.
