Occupational Therapy - Inpatient and Outpatient Services

Occupational Therapy is a health profession that focuses on assisting clients to regain and maintain independence with daily living and life skills.

Occupational Therapists are trained to assist people to overcome limitations caused by injury or illness, psychological or emotional difficulties, developmental delay or the effects of aging. Their goal is to assist each individual to move from dependence to independence, maximising personal productivity, well being and quality of life.

The Occupational Therapy Departments provide assessment and intervention for inpatients, outpatients and community clients. Occupational Therapy is an integral profession of the Allied Health Team.
