2019-2020 Service Agreements

We are coming up to the start of a new financial year which means a new round of service agreements.

Firstly, thank you to all of you who were involved in our annual review process. As always we appreciate your involvement and look forward to working with you throughout the coming year.

The work plans for our various outreach funding programs have been finalised and will be submitted to the Australian Government shortly for approval. While we are waiting on approval from the Australian Government, TAZREACH will start preparing the new service agreements for 2019-2020.

All service providers and host sites whose services have been included in the plans will receive a new service agreement by the middle of June ready for service commencement from 1 July 2019.

End of Financial Year Deadlines

Each year the Department of Health (DoH Tas) closes its finance system for a period of two to three weeks from mid-June for end of financial year processing. During this time TAZREACH is unable to process any claims for payment until the system reopens in July.

As the current financial year is coming to a close it is important to take note of a few deadlines:

  • 11th June 2019 - Please ensure all outstanding claims up until this date are submitted by this date for processing and payment before the end of June. Please continue to submit claims for payment after this date. Processing will recommence in July.
  • 21st July 2019 - All outstanding claims for the 2018-2019 financial year will need to be submitted by this date to ensure payment.

Once our final reports have been finalised for the Australian Government, TAZREACH cannot guarantee that claims received after this date will be processed as unused funding is required to be reallocated.

End of TAZREACH fax service

Please note that as of April 2019, the TAZREACH team no longer has access to a fax service.

All communications, submissions of claims forms, return of service agreements etc will be required to be sent via email or post.

TAZREACH is moving

During June 2019 the TAZREACH team will be moving to the new CH Smith building in Launceston.

While we do not have a specific date confirmed as yet, we do not believe that this will cause any big delays in processing claims or responding to any queries.

Each member of the team will use an out of office response on our emails so that you are aware of what is happening at the time, how long we may be unavailable, and an alternate number to call us on for anything urgent.

A new postal address will be provided once we have details available.
