Governance Structures

The Agency has also developed a three tiered governance structure around the relationship with the community sector and management of their service delivery.

This structure is as follows:

  • Peaks Network and Government - Strategic ForumThis forum is responsible for the areas of regulation and government policy, the development and implementation of the Partnership Agreement between the Community Sector, DHHS and the Department of Premier and Cabinet [link to current Community Sector page, see below] and other strategic topics like workforce development. It is an external strategic forum for the Agency.
  • DHHS Program Managers Group - This is an internal strategic committee focused on program policy and service development and alignment across programs.
  • DHHS Funding Agreement Managers Network - This is an internal network of contract managers at an operational level across the Agency, responsible for the day to day liaison with individual organisations. The aim of the network is to develop a more consistent and streamlined approach to contract management.
